Who we are

HD Southern Development is a web development business based in Southampton, run by Harley and Daniel. You can contact us about anything in this policy at hdsoutherndevelopment@gmail.com.

What we collect and why

When you send an enquiry through our contact form, we collect the details you type in: your name, business name, email address, phone number if you give one, and what you tell us about your business and what you need. We use this for one purpose: to review your enquiry and reply to you about your website.

We only ask for what we need to do that. The form also includes a consent checkbox, so nothing is sent unless you have agreed to us contacting you.

Where your enquiry goes

Form submissions are emailed to our business inbox using Resend, an email delivery service. The website itself is hosted on Vercel. Both act as processors for that data. We do not sell your information or share it with anyone else.

Analytics

We use Vercel Analytics and Vercel Speed Insights to understand how the site performs and how many people visit. These are privacy-friendly tools: they do not use cookies and do not track you across other websites. See our cookie policy for detail.

How long we keep enquiries

We keep enquiry emails for as long as we are talking to you about your project, and delete them when they are no longer needed. If you never become a client, we will not keep contacting you.

Your rights

Under UK data protection law you can ask us what information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Email us and we will sort it. If you are unhappy with how we have handled your data, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.
