Accessibility Statement

Last updated: 17 September 2026

Our commitment

We want everyone to be able to use this website, whatever technology or ability they bring to it. We build to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at level AA, and we apply the same standard to every client website we produce.

What we have done

This site is built with semantic HTML and proper landmarks, works with a keyboard alone with visible focus styles, includes a skip-to-content link, provides text alternatives for meaningful images, maintains strong colour contrast on a dark background, honours your reduced-motion preference by switching animations off, and reflows for zoomed and small-screen use.

Known limitations

The decorative animated background on the homepage is disabled for users who prefer reduced motion. If you find any part of the site difficult to use, that is a problem we want to know about.

Report a problem

Email hdsoutherndevelopment@gmail.com and tell us what happened and what you were using. We take accessibility reports seriously and will respond within a few days.
